Nze had an exceptionally efficient week in helping the Panthers to a pair of league wins. He became the first Milwaukee freshman in 16 years to score 20-plus in a game, netting 22 on 10-of-12 shooting against UIC. He added 13 points, 7 rebounds and a career-high 5 assists in the win over Cleveland State. He shot 79.2 percent (19-of-24 FG) for the week, averaging 13.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game in just 18.7 minutes per outing.


Valparaiso Men's Basketball

Alec Peters

Hometown: Washington, Illinois

Peters broke a pair of Valpo career records last week and averaged 25 points and 13 rebounds per game. Peters opened the week with 20 points and a career-high 16 rebounds in Valpo's 24-point win over then-undefeated Green Bay. Peters followed with 30 points and 10 rebounds in just 23 minutes of action in a 31-point win over UIC, breaking Bryce Drew's career scoring record at Valpo of 2,142 points.


Detroit Mercy Women's Basketball

Rosanna Reynolds

Medium

Hometown: Canton, Michigan

Reynolds averaged 17 points shooting 46 percent from the field during the Titans’ three-game home stand. The 5’10, guard strongest performance came against Youngstown State stuffing the box score with 24 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and a block in 35 minutes of play. Detroit Mercy went 3-0 on the week and are now in third place in League standings. The native of Canton, Mich., became the first player in Titan history to achieve 1,500 points and 500 assists in a career.
