Horizon League Men's Runner of the Week
Ben Uphoff, UW-Milwaukee, Junior, New London, Wis.
Uphoff helped Milwaukee to a second-place team finish at the Bradley Invitational, with a second-place finish. Uphoff finished the race in 25:32, behind only one other D-I athlete and sixth overall. UWM finished with 52 points, just 19 behind first place.

Horizon League Women's Runner of the Week
Angie Huebner, UW-Milwaukee, Sophomore, Green Bay, Wis.
Huebner led the Panthers to a third-place finish at the Bradley Invitational. The Green Bay native took eighth among Division I runners, crossing the line in 18:27. UWM finished with 89 points to trail only Marquette and Loyola among Division I schools.

Other Men's Athletes of the Week
Meade Goedert, Detroit, Senior, Omaha , Neb.
Goedert ran a personal record for Cass-Benton Park (Running Fit-Detroit Titan Invitational) with a time of 20:39. That was good for a tie for seventh place in the race.

Robert Wade, Loyola, Senior, Polaw, Ill.
In his first meet of the season, Wade led Loyola with an eighth-place finish at the Bradley Open in Peoria, Ill. on Sept. 9. Wade crossed the finish line with a time of 25:57.84 for his first top-10 finish since the 2003 Horizon League Championships, where he finished in seventh place.

Mitchell Nast, UW-Green Bay, Sophomore, Marinette, Wis.
Nast placed 22nd overall in 27:11 for the 8K course at the Crusader Invitational in Valparaiso, Ind.

Joel Hidalgo, Wright State, Junior, Beavercreek, Ohio
Hidalgo had the best time for the Raiders in the Miami Invitational on Saturday in 27:24 for 37th place.

Nick Buzek, Youngstown State, Senior, Akron, Ohio
Buzek finished third with a time of 26:01 to lead YSU to the overall victory in its opening meet of the season at the Mel Brodt Invitational on Saturday.

Other Women's Athletes of the Week
Andrea Karl, Detroit, Senior, Fort Wayne, Ind.
Karl finished third at the Running Fit-Detroit Titan Invitational, with a time of 18:41. That was a personal best at Cass-Benton Park, and the eighth best time ever run by a Titan at the park.

Mary Bridget Corken, Loyola, Freshman, Dubuque, Iowa
Corken placed ninth to help the Rambler women's team capture second place at the Bradley Open on Sept. 9 in Peoria, Ill. She completed the course with a time of 18:33 to become the second freshman this season to finish as LU's top runner in a competition.

Kendelle Krause, UW-Green Bay, Freshman, Berlin, Wis.
Krause placed 39th overall in a time of 25:17 at the Crusader Invitational in Valparaiso, Ind.

Christina Hill, Wright State, Sophomore, Fairborn, Ohio
Hill led the Raiders on Saturday with a 22nd-place finish at the Miami Invitational in a time of 19:41.

Emily Cicero, Youngstown State, Senior, Napoleon, Ohio
Cicero led the women's squad to a seventh-place finish with an 11th-place time of 19:23 at the Mel Brodt Invitational on Saturday.
