Men's Athlete of the Week
Scott Overall, Butler, Senior, London, England
Overall noted a Top 10 individual finish at the rugged Notre Dame Invitational. He placed eighth overall with a time of 23:51. He was just four seconds behind Robert Cheseret of Arizona in sixth place and just nine seconds away from a Top 5 individual finish.

Women's Athlete of the Week
Victoria Mitchell, Butler, Senior, Mansfield, Australia
Mitchell continued to establish her credentials as one of the nation's elite runners with a fourth-place individual finish at the Notre Dame Invitational. She crossed the finish line in 16:49, finishing 13 seconds behind individual champ Stephanie Madia of Notre Dame.

Other Top Men's Performers
Dan Zinser, Detroit, Senior, Roseville, Mich.
Zinser ran a personal-best time at the Lehigh Course (26:53) by 28 seconds.

Sam Watson, UIC, Junior, Oak Park, Ill.
Watson led UIC for the second season in a row at the Loyola Lakefront Invitational running a time of 26:07.

Sam Romanoski, Loyola, Junior, Lake Zurich, Ill.
Romanoski helped guide the Ramblers to defeat Eastern Michigan and the University of Guelph for their fourth consecutive Gold Division crown at the 33rd annual Loyola Lakefront Invitational last weekend. The Lake Zurich, Ill. native completed the 8K course with a season-best time of 24:43, good enough for a sixth-place finish. This is Romanoski's first finish as LU's top runner this season.

Nathaniel Brown, UW-Green Bay, Junior, Montello, Wis.
Brown led the Phoenix to a 71st-place finish out of 208 runners at the Notre Dame Invitational. The junior completed the 8K course in a time of 26:21.

Kyle Soukup, UW-Milwaukee, Freshman, Green Bay, Wis.
Soukup led three Panthers that competed at the Loyola Lakefront Invitational with a time of 27:29. Leading a trio of UWM freshmen, Soukup's time was good for 165th place.

Nick Kruse, Youngstown State, Junior, Napoleon, Ohio
Kruse ran a personal-best 8K time of 25:36 to place first for YSU and 18th overall at the Notre Dame Invitational on Friday. The mark also ranks him ninth in school history in the 8K.

Other Top Women's Performers
Andrea Karl, Detroit, Senior, Fort Wayne, Ind.
Karl finished 113th in the race with a time of 22:25, marking her second- fastest 6K.

Laura Macias, UIC, Junior, Chicago, Ill.
Macias began her UIC career in a big way at the Loyola Lakefront Invitational, racing to the team's best 5,000-meter time in two years. The Chicago native finished the course in 18:33, the best time by a UIC female cross country runner since former All-Horizon League runner Jenni Goebel raced to a sub-19 time at the 2003 edition of the Loyola Invite. Macias finished 32nd out of 274 runners.

Amanda Domich, Loyola, Junior, Algonquin, Ill.
Domich paced the LU women's team to a sixth-place finish last weekend at the 33rd annual Loyola Lakefront Invitational with a 34th-place showing at a time of 18:34.

Jessica Shefchik, UW-Green Bay, Senior, Green Bay, Wis.
Shefchik finished 90th in a field of 186 at the Notre Dame Invitational. She finished the 5K run with a time of 19:31.

Megan Johnson, UW-Milwaukee, Freshman, River Falls, Wis.
Johnson led the Panthers to a 25th-place finish a the Loyola Lakefront Invitational. The freshman was UWM's top runner for the second time this season, taking 71st with a time of 19:09.

Emily Cicero, Youngstown State, Senior, Napoleon, Ohio
Cicero led the Penguins for the third straight meet with a 44th-place and a time of 18:59 at the Notre Dame Invitational.
