Horizon League Announces Men's, Women's Basketball TV Schedules

More than 65 Horizon League basketball games -- including 20 women's and nearly 50 men's -- will be broadcast on local, regional and national television during the 2006-07 season, the League office announced Wednesday (Nov. 1).
The Butler University men's team will tip-off the League's television slate Nov. 13 on ESPNU when the Bulldogs face the University of Notre Dame in the NIT Season Tip-Off at Conseco Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis. That will be the first of at least nine games involving Horizon League teams on ESPN networks this season.
The composite Horizon League television schedule also includes games on Comcast Chicago, Comcast Detroit, SportsTime Ohio, Fox 17/62 (Youngstown, Ohio), WMLW-TV 41 (Milwaukee), FSN Midwest, FSN North and Lakeshore Public Television (Merrillville, Ind.) and syndicated by ESPN Plus.
In addition to the games listed below, more than 140 Horizon League men's and women's regular-season and tournament games will be available on the Horizon League Network (HLN), the League's new broadband channel accessible at www.horizonleague.org.
