Ochwat began the week with a 5-for-5 performance with two RBI and a run scored in helping the Vikings top Purdue 10-3. He was crucial in helping CSU take the final three games of a series against Butler, driving in three runs on a triple in the first win, scoring two runs and driving in two on a home run in the second win and going 3-for-5 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI in the third win that clinched fifth-place for the Vikings. He is currently leading the team with a .361 average and 12 steals.

He went a complete nine-inning game against Purdue, holding the Boilermakers to two earned runs on eight hits while striking out eight and walking none. He tallied the win against Butler to clinch fifth-place for the Vikings, going eight innings after scattering 12 hits and striking out nine while walking one. This season, he has posted a team best 78 strikeouts while walking only 17, a rate of over four strikeouts for every walk.
