INDIANAPOLIS - Three Horizon League student-athletes have been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District At-Large squads in a voting of the membership of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Schantz was one of the Horizon League's top swimmers this past season, finishing second at the League Championships in the 200 and 500 free and swimming the lead leg on the second place 800 free relay team. His efforts helped CSU to a second place team finish at the league championships. During the regular season, Schantz won 12 individual events and recorded the Horizon League's top 200 free time (1:39.75). In the classroom, the Loddekopinge, Sweden, native owns a 3.89 grade point average with a major in International Business and Marketing.

Winderl, a four-year swimmer at UW-Milwaukee, competed in the 500 freestyle, 1000 freestyle, 1650 freestyle and 200 butterfly as a senior. He recorded 19 top-10 finishes on season, including 10 top-five's. He set personal-bests in the 500 and 1650 freestyles this season and has been named to the Horizon All-Academic League Team two times. He was also named the valedictorian of UWM's School of Business.

Caldwell wrapped up a prolific career in the pool at Milwaukee this past season by earning Horizon League Championship Swimmer of the Meet honors for the third straight time. She won 28 of 34 races on the season, took second in three others and did not lose a race in the 50 freestyle or 100 freestyle after Oct. 14 - a span of 19 straight victories. She claimed four League titles as a senior (50/100/200 freestyle & one relay) to bring career total to 13 (eight individual and five relay). Caldwell leaves the program holding 16 records (11 school/five League). In the classroom, this marks the second-consecutive season she has been named Second-Team Academic All-District by CoSIDA.
