Junior transfer Tiffany McLoughlin led the way for the women's team, picking up a victory at the No. 2 spot against Metro State and earning the only point for the Bulldogs in the loss to Air Force, using three sets to defeat Kelly Morgan 6-4, 2-6, 10-8 .

The Cleveland State University men return to Horizon League play on Friday with a match against Youngstown State. The two teams also squared off in the fall portion of the schedule, with the Vikings taking a 7-0 win. The CSU women will be idle until an April 6 match-up with UIC.

Mother Nature handed the University of Detroit Mercy some time off last week as forecasted chilly temperatures postponed the Titans' scheduled match with future League foe Valparaiso. Up next for Detroit is a quick swing through Florida, where the Titans will face Nova Southeastern and Lynn March 25-26.

With two victories on a Texas road trip last weekend, the University of Illinois at Chicago women ran their winning streak to six matches. The Flames defeated North Texas 6-1 and swept Collin County Community College 7-0. UIC will look for a seventh-consecutive win this Saturday against Eastern Michigan.

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay women return to Horizon League play this week as they travel to Indianapolis to face Butler. The match will be the fourth League tilt for the Phoenix while only the second for the Bulldogs. On the men's side, UW-Green Bay is idle until a doubleheader on March 31 with South Dakota State (9 a.m) and Marquette (2 p.m.)

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women will end March quietly, as the Panthers have only two matches scheduled during the final three weeks of the month. UWM returns from an idle week to take on Illinois State this Sunday, March 25, followed by a contest with South Dakota State on March 31. The Panthers will then begin a busy April as they face three League foes in the first two weeks.

Both the Wright State University squads returned to action briefly last week, with each team playing in one contest. The Raider men fell to nationally-ranked Western Michigan, while the women were blanked by Bowling Green. Both teams will be idle this week as they prepare for the bulk of the League schedule.

After winning only one match all of last season, the Youngstown State University men's tennis team has strung together five victories, including three wins on the team's spring break trip and a home defeat of Robert Morris last weekend. The only loss for the Penguins in the last five matches has been a 7-0 loss to nationally-ranked Stetson.
