INDIANAPOLIS -- Once again, a Horizon League player shares the spotlight with some of the nation's top men's soccer programs. This week, it's University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee senior midfielder Neil Dombrowski who represents the League on national "Team of the Week" honor rollscompiled by Soccer America magazine and College Soccer News.

The West Allis, Wis., native becomes the sixth different Horizon League player cited by SA this year, joining University of Illinois at Chicago goalkeeper Jeff Engelbrecht (Sept. 7), University ofDetroit Mercy forward Andrew Ornoch (Sept. 21), Butler University goalkeeper Frank Peabody (Oct. 5), Loyola University Chicago midfielder Keum Sung Kim (Oct. 5) and UW-Milwaukee goalkeeper Grant Fernstrum (Oct. 12). Fernstrum also landed on the CSN squad two weeks ago.

Dombrowski equaled a school and Horizon League record with four goals in the Panthers' 4-1 victory over Loyola on Sunday (Oct. 23). He posted the ninth four-goal outing in UWM history and the first since Antou Jallow hit the net four times versus UIC on Oct. 2, 2002. The Panther midfielderopened the scoring in the 15th minute and contributed another strike seven minutes later for a 2-0 halftime advantage. He completed the hat trick in the 61st minute and finished his personal barrage with a 30-yard free kick in the 66th minute.

His four-goal outing was the tenth in League annals, and the first since Ablaye Camara of Detroit collected four markers versus Centenary College on Sept. 26, 2004. Dombrowski now shares the Horizon League lead with eight goals this season.

Dombrowski and his teammates carry a 9-3-4 overall ledger into Wednesday's (Oct. 26) match at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. The Panthers still hold hope of claiming the regular-seasonHorizon League title, currently standing second with a 4-1-1 mark in the League.
