How does it feel to be headed to the "Big Dance"?

It has been one of the greatest feelings I have ever experienced. The only way I can explain it would be, being there in person.

Had you previously rehearsed those dancing moves you put on display in the waning seconds of the Horizon League Championship?

No, it was the only dance I could think of at the time.

Do you have any background information on those "boxing" belts that were worn by you and a few other Raiders during your post game celebration?

A student put it on me and said we where the champs.

What was the nickname Coach Brownell gave you at the Christmas party?

Fighting knight.

Why did you decide to attend Wright State University?

The community, the teachers and the wonderful campus.

Sometimes athletes have certain connections with their jersey number. Is there any particular reason why you wear #5?

There are five players on the court and I wanted to look like a team player.

What is the best aspect of being a part of Wright State's basketball team?

Everybody on our team goes out of their way for each other.

What was your first thought when you heard that you were named the Horizon League Player of the Year?

I was excited but not as much as when I heard we just won the regular season title.

Do you have any suggestions for young athletes who aspire to compete at the collegiate level?

Don't give up and don't ever let somebody tell you what you can't accomplish.

Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?

Teaching and helping kids get ready for the world like people have helped me.

What is your least favorite practice drill?

Staying in a defensive stance for 30 seconds at a time.

Who is the most impressive person you have ever met and why?

My dad, he gives it to me straight, no beating around the bush.

What is your favorite Coach Brownell quote?

"The other team cannot want to win more than you."

What would people find surprising about you?

That I enjoy being around young kids.

What is the best thing about living in Dayton?

The people you are surrounded by.

Do you have any superstitions?

I have to get a lot of rest before games.

What is your dream job?

To be a head college coach one day.

If you could compete in any sport other than basketball what would it be?

Football

What is the best advice you ever received?

Never let someone tell you what you can't do.
