2013-14 Season (Senior)
- For the second-year in a row, Brown was named a preseason first team all-league selection.
- Comes into the season as Green Bay’s leader in career blocks at 215.
2012-13 Season (Junior)
- Voted second team all-league after scoring 14.1 points, 1.7 blocks per game.
- Selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District 12 Second Team.
- Scored a career-high 28 points vs. Milwaukee on Feb. 26, making 10-of-12 shots, including four of five shots from three-point land.
2011-12 Season (Sophomore)
- Named first team all-league, the first Green Bay sophomore to be pegged to the team since Jeff Nordgaard in 1993-94.
- Selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District 12 Second Team.
- Averaged 13.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game.
- Finished the season ranked in a tie for ninth nationally in blocks per game (3.0).
- On Jan. 14, blocked 11 shots against Wright State, breaking the program, League and Resch Center record.
- Totaled 89 blocks to break the program's single-season blocks record, which he set as a freshman in 2010-11.
2010-11 Season (Freshman)
- Named to the Horizon League all-newcomer team, one of only two freshmen named to the honor.
- Broke the school records for blocks in a season (67), blocks by a freshman (67) and blocks in a game (8).
- Was the team's third-leading scorer with an average of 10.2 per game.
- Totaled 22 points and 12 rebounds against Valparaiso on February 21.
You’ve been honored as an all-league pick each of the last two seasons and made the all-newcomer team your freshman year. What’s the biggest part of your game you worked on this offseason?
I really just worked on my all-around game; improving my shot, my strength and my aggressiveness.
Entering your senior season, you’re the only player in the country with more than 1,200 points, 600 rebounds and 200 blocked shots in a career. What is it going to take to elevate your game even further?
I’m going to have to be more aggressive and really get after it and treat every game like it’s my last. Because this is it, this is my last go around and I have to play as hard as I can. It has gone way too fast, it’s just weird how fast it goes but I’m excited for the future.
In your time at Green Bay you’ve take part in the adidas Nations Basketball Experience and the Amare Stoudemire Skills Academy. How do these offseason experiences help you both on and off the court?
They just help me in getting looks from other communities and help me confidence wise. I had the opportunity to play against some of the best players in the country and knowing that I can play right there with them really helps boast my confidence.
There are six new faces on the roster this year. Who has impressed you the most thus far?
Everyone has really shown their own strengths here and there. (Alfonzo) McKinnie is obviously a great rebounder and goes hard and gets to the basket. Vince(nt) (Garrett) has come in made some really big plays for us in practice and has really shown what he can do. Some other new guys like (Tevin) Findlay has been working hard every day, he’s such a fast player. All the newcomers really have their own strengths and it really helps out a lot.
Green Bay has home dates with Wisconsin (Nov. 16) and Virginia (Dec. 7). How exciting is it when teams like Wisconsin and Virginia come to town?
It will be huge for us, we play our best at home. To have teams come to our place makes it a lot more exciting to play them.
Green Bay has some players who can play above the rim which begs the question, who is the best dunker on the team?
It is tough, because Keifer (Sykes) is just so little but can get up there, it’s crazy. I’d have to say McKinnie. He has been throwing down some pretty good dunks in practice so as of now I’d say for now its McKinnie.
You’re listed at 7-foot-1, how difficult is it to sleep in campus housing beds?
(Laughs). Well I had to sleep on the normal, small bed for the first month I was here and that was rough. I think I almost fell off a couple times but eventually I got a bigger bed and was able to sleep a lot better.
Off the court what are some things you enjoy doing?
I love to golf, I golf a lot. The golf clubs are special made, about three inches longer than normal clubs would be. Besides that I like to hang out with friends like a normal college student.
Who is the funniest guy on the team?
Vince is new but he’s been funny. He’s always goofing around, I can never tell if he’s serious or not but he’s a funny guy.
This is your final year of eligibility. How excited are you to see what your future holds in basketball?
I have no clue where I see myself next year, which is actually very exciting. It’s exciting to not really know where you’re going to be a year from now. Ideal situation would be somewhere in the NBA, but you never know so I’m just excited to see what happens.
