Green Bay is participating in its 10th NCAA Tournament (1998, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2010). The Phoenix are 2-9 all-time in the event. UWGB's at-large bid is the Horizon League's first in 24 years of women's basketball.
The Phoenix has also made 13 consecutive postseason appearances, including three trips to the Women's National Invitational Tournament (2001, 2006, 2008).
Green Bay has captured at least a share of 12 straight Horizon League regular-season titles and 13 overall. The current 12-year streak ranks as the nation's longest.
The Phoenix has clinched an 11th consecutive 20+ win season and also assured itself of a 33rd straight winning campaign.
Green Bay finished off a 34-game regular-season winning streak and 35-game regular-season conference winning streak earlier this season. Both were all-time Horizon League records.
The Phoenix is 9-3 all-time in Horizon League Tournament championship games with its last win coming in 2009. The nine tourney wins are a conference record.
Green Bay advanced to semifinals of the 2010 Speedway Horizon League Championship with a victory over #9 Milwaukee in the quarterfinals. The Phoenix then had its 27-game homecourt winning streak snapped by #4 Cleveland State in the semifinals.
Green Bay has won nine of its last 10 games after suffering through a stretch of three losses in five contests.
The Phoenix started 16-0 this season -- the school's best start in its 36-year history.After beginning the campaign 16-0, Green Bay suffered back-to-back losses to Loyola and UIC on Jan. 21 and 23. It was the Phoenix's first two-game losing streak in conference play since Feb. 8-15, 1997.
UWGB became the first team in Horizon League history to go undefeated (11-0) in regular-season non-conference affairs.
Green Bay was the only Horizon League program ranked in the Top 25 this season. The Phoenix climbed to 14th in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll and 17th in the Associated Press poll the week of Jan. 18.
Green Bay managed three wins over Bowl Championship Series Conference opponents in 2009-10. The Phoenix knocked off Wisconsin on Nov. 24 (60-58), #21/23 DePaul on Dec. 2 (79-68) and Marquette on Dec. 19 (65-48).
Juniors Kayla Tetschlag and Celeste Hoewisch were named to the All-Horizon League First Team. Tetschlag ranks third in the conference with 14.8 points, seventh with 6.5 rebounds and eighth with 0.8 blocks per game. Hoewisch places third with 2.5 steals, sixth with 13.8 points and seventh with 4.2 assists per contest.
Sophomore Julia Wojta was chosen to the All-Horizon League Second Team. She ranks fourth in the circuit with 14.2 points, sixth with 2.0 steals and ninth with 3.6 assists per game.
Kayla Tetschlag notched three Horizon League Player of the Week accolades this season (Dec. 7, Jan. 4 and Feb. 22), while Julie Wojta (Dec. 14) and Celeste Hoewisch (Feb. 15) recorded one weekly award apiece.
Kayla Tetschlag earned a spot on the 2010 Speedway All-Tournament Team.

Cleveland State is making its second NCAA Tournament appearance (2008, 2010). The Vikings are 0-1 all-time in the event.
The Vikings are 2-1 all-time in Horizon League Tournament championship games with their victories coming in 2008 and 2010.
Cleveland State advanced to finale of the 2010 Speedway Horizon League Championship with wins over #5 UIC in the quarterfinals and #1 Green Bay in the semifinals. The Vikings then defeated #2 Butler in the tournament championship game.
Cleveland State's semifinal win ended Green Bay's 27-game homecourt winning streak. The Phoenix had not lost at the Kress Events Center since March 14, 2008 -- also a CSU victory.
The Vikings have won seven of their last eight contests overall and four of their last five away from the Wolstein Center.
Cleveland State's 77-75 overtime win over Indiana on Dec. 19 was its only victory over a Bowl Championship Series Conference opponent in 2009-10.
Senior Kailey Klein was named to the All-Horizon League First Team for a third consecutive season. She leads the conference with 18.6 points, places sixth with 7.3 rebounds and seventh with 0.8 blocks per outing.
Junior Shawnita Garland was chosen to the All-Horizon League Second Team and the conference's All-Defensive Team. She paces the circuit with 3.0 steals, ranks ninth with 13.0 points and 10th with 3.3 assists per game.
Kailey Klein recorded four Horizon League Player of the Week accolades this season (Dec. 21, Jan. 11, Feb. 8 and March 1), while senior Jessica Roque picked up one weekly award (Nov. 30).
Kailey Klein is just one of three players in Horizon League history to eclipse the 2,000-point plateau. She enters postseason play with 99 double-figure scoring performances and 2,109 career points.
