Well today finds us in another hotel as we wait for our next contest after taking a week off from games so the girls could focus on their exams. They really earned that time as they are currently on a four game winning streak. More impressive is how they have come together through the numerous injuries we've had to deal with.
After leading the team in scoring through our first five games, Susan Lester got hurt. That didn't seem to slow us down as we had several different players come together and pick up the slack. In fact, during that 4-game stretch, we have had a different starting lineup each time!
But, Susan hasn't been the only one battling injury. We've actually had four other players get hurt as well. It seems like our team shoe isn't a Nike, but instead a doctor ordered hard-shell boot!
All we want for Christmas is...two good feet!
