Wright State

Mark Alstork

Hometown: Dayton, Ohio

MediumJunior guard Mark Alstork and the Wright State Raiders opened up the season with a 85-81 win over Southern Illinois on Friday night. Alstork led the team with a career-high 30 points on 10-for-19 from the field while tying his career-high in triples with four. The junior additionally grabbed two boards, dished out four assists and tallied one steal in the winning effort. Alstork was also solid from the charity stripe, going 6-for-7 for the night.


Northern Kentucky

Carson Williams

Hometown: Owenton, Ky.

MediumFreshman Carson Williams kicked off his Norse career over the weekend with impressive numbers over Earlham and Illinois. Williams posted a game-high 15 points in the season-opener followed-up by his first career double-double over the Illini. The freshman tallied 10 points and 14 rebounds at Illinois and aided the team to a 33-31 lead at the half with eight points and eight rebounds in the first 20 minutes.


Northern Kentucky

Lauren Hurley

Hometown: Gahanna, OH

MediumHurley had back-to-back 20-dig matches in Northern Kentucky's two wins over the weekend.The senior's 52 digs were instrumental in the Norse clinching the No. 3 seed in the Horizon League Tournament.


Youngstown State

Sarah Varcolla

Hometown: New Philadelphia, OH

MediumVarcolla had 25 kills on .375 hitting percentage in Youngstown State's two matches over the last week. The sophomore also tacked on three aces and two assists for an all-around performance that helped the Penguins beat UIC.


Milwaukee

Lizzie Odegard

Hometown: Minnetonka, Minnesota

MediumOdegard made her collegiate debut on Sunday and recorded five points and five rebounds in 14 minutes of action. Most of the freshman's production came down the stretch as Milwaukee pulled away from Western Illinois in the final minutes to start their season off with a 1-0 record.


Green Bay

Jessica Lindstrom

Hometown: Superior, Wisconsin

MediumLindstrom had a very efficient two games for the Phoenix averaging a double-double over 15.5 minutes of play. The junior shot 12-19 in the two game stretch for a 63.2 field goal percentage including 50 percent (3-6) from behind the arc to help Green Bay start out with two wins against Elon and Little Rock on the campaign.


Milwaukee

Dakota Skenandore

Hometown: West Bend, Wis.

MediumSkenandore led Milwaukee for the second-straight week on the 1-meter and 3-meter boards at UIC. The freshman scored 264.37 points on the 1-meter board while also tabbing 248.40 points on the 3-meter.

Sara Bentley

Hometown: Ames, Iowa

MediumBentley won four different events for Milwaukee at UIC. The junior led the pack in the 100 back (56.22), 200 back (2:04.36), 200 IM (2:07.85) and was part of the winning 200 medley relay. Bentley broke her own pool record in the 100 back and holds the fastest time in the League this year.

Cassidy Pilo

Hometown: Sussex, Wis.

MediumPilo won the 3-meter and placed second in the 1-meter against UIC for the Panthers over the weekend. The sophomore gathered 242.92 points in her winning performance while tabbing 244.02 on the 1-meter.


Cleveland State

Tommi Wolst

Hometown: Leipzig, Germany

MediumWolst won three individual events at Ohio State for the Vikings over the weekend. The sophomore led the way in the 100 breast (56.47), 200 back (1:49.37), and 200 IM (1:52.27).
