Valparaiso

Nico Campbell

Hometown: Kingston, Jamaica

MediumCampbell stopped three shots at SIUE to earn his sixteenth career clean sheet over the weekend for Valparaiso. The senior went 1-0-1 over the two contests collecting four saves, one shutout and a 0.45 goals against average.


Wright State

Peguy Ngatcha

Hometown: Manchester, NH

MediumNgatcha had an impressive weekend for Wright State on the offensive end collecting six points on three goals. The senior scored two goals against Cincinnati, including the golden goal in double overtime. In addition, Ngatcha also found the back of the net facing Duquesne in the team's 3-2 victory.


Cleveland State

Grace Kauth

Hometown: Vandalia, Ohio

MediumKauth lead the team with 42 kills on a 3.50 kills-per-set ratio in the team’s three games. The senior also tallied nine assists and three aces for an all-around performance. The outside-hitter was named MVP of the Cleveland State Invitational and eclipsed 1,100 kills in her career.


Youngstown State

Ernestina Abambila

Hometown: Takordi, Ghana

MediumAbambila either scored or assisted in all six of the team’s goals over the weekend. While notching three goals and three assists, the junior midfielder became the first Penguin to score two goals in a game since 2014.


UIC

Kara Johnson

Hometown: Champaign, Ill.

MediumJohnson notched 44 digs over the weekend with a 4.0 digs-per-set clip to help UIC win the Jacksonville Classic. The senior’s efforts helped the Flames to their best start in a season since 2000 with a 6-0 record.


Oakland

Bryce Stroede

Hometown: Horton, Mich.

MediumStroede won the 6K at the Golden Grizzly Open with a time of 18:41.3. The junior ran against 66 fellow runners and helped Oakland to a team title.


Wright State

Katie Ruff

Hometown: Colorado Springs, CO

MediumRuff was an integral part of Wright State’s 2-0 record on the weekend. The goalkeeper had 12 saves and no goals allowed while playing all 180 minutes.


Oakland

Rachel Levy

Hometown: Midland, Mich.

MediumLevy won her first career cross country race at the Golden Grizzly Open. The sophomore crossed the finish line in a time of 14:02.5 to beat out 51 other competitors.


UIC

Kyle Hauser

Hometown: Palos Heights, Ill.

MediumHauser won the Flyers/Flames Challenge this past weekend with a 6K time of 19:00. The senior finished 15.1 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher and also recorded a 6K personal-best time.
