Vanbeek had a career-high 21 kills in Youngstown State’s victory over Eastern Kentucky. The middle blocker’s 4.00 kills-per-set average and .500 attack percentage helped the Penguins go 3-0 over the weekend. For her performance, Vanbeek was named MVP of the Akron Invitational.

Kendell won his first collegiate race trying his 4-mile career low with a time of 20:24 at the Titan Invite. He is only the third Titan to ever win the home event and his time is tired for second fastest on the course.

Fetherolf set her career best by 25 seconds with a time of 18:36 at the Titan Invite 5K. The meet marks her second-straight top-10 effort to begin the season for Detroit.

Porlier scored the first two goals of her career in Valparaiso’s match at Western Michigan. The freshman’s two goals came in a span of five minutes and helped push their match into overtime.

Lohmann posted her third career shut-out against Vanderbilt notching four saves. Her efforts helped the Norse beat the Commodores in double-overtime.

Hurley had back-to-back 30-dig matches, totaling 85 digs in three matches. The senior averaged over 7.0 digs-per-set over the three game span and was named the Eagle Challenge MVP.
Hometown: Troy, Mich.
Scored the game-winning goal in double-overtime against Northern Kentucky. In addition, assisted on Oakland's only goal at Penn State to tie it up and force overtime. For the week, Serwatka collected three points on two shots and one shot on-goal.
