PORTSMOUTH, Va. -- Oakland's Travis Bader and Youngstown State's Kendrick Perry wrapped successful performances at the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament over the weekend. Bader earned All-Tournament Team accolades while Perry demonstrated superior athleticism at the event.

Playing for K & D Rounds Landscaping, Bader opened the PIT with a 24-point effort, knocking down four 3-pointers. Overall, Bader was 8-for-12 from the floor in the game. With increased defensive attention in his next two games, the NCAA career 3-point record holder had 16 and 19 points, respectively. For the tournament, Bader averaged 19.7 points per game, going 11-for-23 from 3-point range and 18-for-37 overall.

Perry struggled from the floor in his first two games, but rebounded in the finale to finish with 13 points. For the tournament, Perry averaged 8.7 ppg and 2.0 assists per game.

However, Perry displayed superior athleticism throughout the PIT, registering the quickest three-quarter court sprint time among the 64 seniors, posting a mark of 3.18 seconds. In lane agility drills, Perry posted the second-quickest time in 10.79 seconds. DraftExpress.com, which covered the event, rated Perry as one of the top two athletes at the P.I.T.

The Portsmouth Invitational annually showcases the nation's best seniors and has seen players like John Stockton, Dennis Rodman, Tim Hardaway and Scottie Pippen play in its tournament. Approximately 200 scouts, general managers and representatives of all 30 NBA teams and international leagues attend the tournament, scouting prospects and conducting in-person interviews.
