Women's Soccer Player of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Horizon League announced today that Green Bay sophomore midfielder Megan Braatz has been named the Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week beginning Sept. 6.
Braatz had a hand in all four goals scored by Green Bay during the week, collecting two goals and two assists as the Phoenix went 1-1 defeating Northern Iowa, 4-0, on Friday, before falling to South Dakota State, 1-0, on Sunday afternoon.
In the Phoenix's rout of the Panthers, Braatz netted the first two Green Bay goals, drilling a shot to the far post to capture her first goal. The sophomore added two assists to cement the Green Bay victory.
The Phoenix hit the road this coming week, meeting Western Illinois on Thursday, Sept. 16, before a weekend match against Northern Illinois on Sunday, Sept. 19.
