INDIANAPOLIS -- Cleveland State University senior J'Nathan Bullock has been named Horizon League Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the period of Dec. 15-21. The selection marks Bullock's second career weekly honor from the League office.

A native of Flint, Mich., Bullock averaged 18.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting 50 percent (15-for-30) during a two-game stretch last week.

Cleveland State improved to 8-4 on the year with a pair of wins -- Monday at #11/11 Syracuse (72-69) and Saturday vs. La Roche College (74-46).

The victory over Syracuse, which came on a 60-foot runner by senior Cedric Jackson at the buzzer, was just CSU's third over an Associated Press Top 25 team in school history.

The Vikings have now won three straight contests at the Carrier Dome after posting NCAA Tournament victories over Indiana and Saint Joseph's in 1986.

Bullock ranks seventh on Cleveland State's all-time scoring list (1,409) and is just one of 10 players in school history to collect 1,000 points and 500 rebounds.

Bullock entered the 2008-09 season as a first-team All-Horizon League choice. He was named to the League's first team in 2007-08 after ranking sixth in the conference with 14.8 points per game.

Cleveland State will host two games this week -- Tuesday against Kent State (7 p.m. ET) and Saturday vs. Notre Dame College (1 p.m.).
