INDIANAPOLIS - Butler senior Joe Macdonald, Milwaukee senior Quinn Mongoven, BU freshman Lauren McKillop, and UWM senior Beth Zimmerman have been named Horizon League Track and Field Athletes of the Week for the period of March 22-28.

Macdonald, a native of Manchester, U.K., receives the men's track honor after finishing 10th in the section one heat of the 5K (13:54.08) on Friday at the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto, Calif. His time is a new personal best and the fastest in the Horizon League this season.

Mongoven, a native of Twin Lakes, Wis., picks up the men's field award after winning the long jump (6.85 meters) and placing second in the high jump (2.02 meters) on Sunday at the Eastern Illinois Invitational in Charleston, Ill.

McKillop, a native of Matraville, Australia, garners the women's track honor placing seventh in the section two heat of the 5K (16:25.01) at the Stanford Invitational on Friday. Her time was a personal best and tops the Horizon League this season.

Zimmerman, a native of Watertown, Wis., collects the women's field award after winning the long jump (5.79 meters) and placing second in the triple jump (12.15 meters) on Sunday at the Eastern Illinois Invitational. Zimmerman broke her own school record in the triple and ranks first in the League in the event.

Butler returns to action on Saturday when it heads to Greencastle, Ind., for the DePauw Invitational and Milwaukee heads to Marquette for a dual meet on Friday.
