INDIANAPOLIS -- Fresh off a thrilling penalty kick win in the Horizon League championship, the No. 6 Butler Bulldogs were handed the 13th seed in the 2010 NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament, receiving a bye to the second round.  The Bulldogs will host either Summit League champion Oakland or Big Ten member Michigan State on Sunday, Nov. 21 at 1 p.m. ET at the Butler Bowl.

Butler (16-0-3) enters the tournament as one of just two unbeaten teams in the nation; the No. 1 national seed, Louisville, has an identical 16-0-3 record.

Michigan State (11-7-1) and Oakland (7-10-3) will play on Thursday, Nov. 18, with the victor meeting the Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon.  Butler already defeated the Golden Grizzles, 1-0, earlier this season.

Should Butler advance, they would meet either fourth-seed North Carolina, UNC Greensboro or Georgetown on Sunday, Nov. 28.  The 2010 NCAA College Cup is slated for Dec. 10-12 at Harder Stadium in Santa Barbara, Calif.
