Indianapolis, Ind. - Butler men's basketball coach Todd Lickliter has resigned his position with the Bulldogs to accept the head coaching post at the University of Iowa. Lickliter will be introduced as the new Iowa head coach at a press conference in Iowa City on Tuesday, April 3.

"Todd gave us six great years and lifted our program to unprecedented heights," said Butler Director of Athletics Barry Collier. "We're grateful for what he's done for Butler University, and we wish him the very best in his new position."

Collier will begin an immediate search to find Lickliter's successor.
