PENDLETON, Ind. - Breanna Fisher hurled a four-hit shutout to lead Butler University over the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay 2-0 Friday in the consolation bracket of the Horizon League Softball Championship at Legends Field in Pendleton, Ind.

The freshman righthander (13-14) struck out five and gave up only one walk, while Bridget Paine went 3-for-3 at the plate to pace the Bulldogs' offense.

Butler (25-27) scored the only run it would need in the first when Alex Boros slid under the tag at home on Erin Falkenberry's infield grounder. Mallory Watkins' bases-loaded walk in the fifth forced in Paige Ashton for the second run.

Amanda Margelofsky (10-9) was the tough-luck loser, scattering eight hits to go along with the two runs in a complete-game outing.

Butler advances to play fourth-seeded Loyola University Chicago in Saturday's first game at 9 a.m. ET.
