INDIANAPOLIS – Butler senior forward Chloe Hamilton has been named Horizon League Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Jan 17.
Hamilton helped the Bulldogs remain undefeated in conference play with two road wins last week.
The Holt, Mich., native had a career-high 27 points in a 66-61 victory over the Flames after posting 16 points in a 64-60 win over the Ramblers.
Hamilton shot 60 percent, going 18-for-30 from the field, and 77.8 in free throws, hitting 7-of-9 from the line. She also pulled down 13 boards on the week as the Bulldogs out-rebounded their opponents in both games.
Hamilton is second in the league in field goal percentage (57.6), 10th in scoring (13.7ppg) and 10th in rebounding (6.9rpg).
Butler welcomes No. 21/15 Green Bay on Thursday to battle for first place in a 7pm ET contest. The Bulldogs then host Milwaukee on Saturday in a 2pm tipoff.
