Butler's Scott Overall will have two shots at All-American status when he competes in the 2007 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championship in Fayetteville, Ark., on Friday and Saturday, March 9-10. The senior standout is entered in both the mile run and the 3,000 meter run at the national meet, which will be hosted by the University of Arkansas at the Randal Tyson Track Center.

Overall posted a seed time of 4:01.67 in the mile run. He'll compete in the mile prelims on Friday (March 9) at 7:05 p.m. (CDT). The mile finals are on Saturday (March 10) at 6:25 p.m.

The 3,000 meter run is set for Saturday at 7:50 p.m. Overall posted a top time of 7:55.36 in that event back on Feb. 3.

The top eight finishers in each event earn All-America recognition. Overall is bidding to become Butler's first All-American in indoor track and field.
