Green Bay, Wis. - Day two of the 2005 Horizon League Softball Championships ended in dramatic fashion after several rain delays halted play for most of the day on Friday at the Ashwaubenon Sports Complex in Green Bay, Wis.

No. 3 Cleveland State advanced into the Championship Game on Saturday with an eighth-inning walk-off home run to defeat No. 5 Detroit, 1-0 in the winner's bracket. In the loser's bracket, top-seed and tournament favorite UIC was discarded by No. 2 UW-Green Bay, 5-3, in the final game of the day.

Saturday's schedule begins at 9:00 a.m. CDT as UW-Green Bay and Detroit square off in the loser's bracket for a chance to advance into the title game against Cleveland State at 11:30 a.m.
