CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State men's golf team was selected as one of 13 teams to compete in the NCAA West Lafayette Regional from May 15-17 as the selections were announced on Thursday morning on The Golf Channel's Morning Drive.
This will be CSU's fourth straight appearance at the NCAA Regionals and the eighth in the last 12 years after the Vikings won the Horizon League Championship two weeks ago in Florida. CSU also played in the NCAA regionals in 2006, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
The field will play 54 holes at the Kampen Course with Purdue hosting the regional. The low five teams and the low individual not on those teams from each regional will advance to the finals which will be contested from May 26-31 at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Illinois.
The other five NCAA Regionals will be contested at Auburn, Wash., Austin, Texas, Baton Rouge, La., College Grove, Tenn., and Stanford, Calif.
