Cleveland State's Bailey named Horizon League Golfer of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS -- Cleveland State freshman Andrew Bailey has been named Horizon League Golfer of the Week for the period of March 16-22.

Bailey tied for third out of 74 individuals at the Don Benbow Invitational in Jacksonville, Fla. The Vikings also tied for third in the 11-team event.

Bailey, a native of Rocky River, Ohio, shot two over par in the two day event, shooting a 71 in the first round and a 73 to finish the tournament.

Bailey shot a 144, while the Vikings shot a combined 591.

Bailey will become eligible for next week’s Horizon League Network's "People's Choice" award, which is announced each Thursday afternoon.  Log on to www.HorizonLeague.com to vote.
