INDIANAPOLIS – Cleveland State sophomore Tori Holt (Columbiana, Ohio) has been named the Horizon League’s Runner of the Week for September 17-23 after finishing eighth out of 129 runners at the Otterbein Invitational on Saturday.

Slogging through the muddy Westerville, Ohio, course, Holt paced the Vikings with a 19:23 5k, her third straight sub-20: race at that distance. It was also the third straight time Holt has finished first among her teammates.

Finishing in the top 10 for the second time this season, Holt led Cleveland State to a fourth-place team finish in the 12-team field. Vikings sophomore Katie Webb joined Holt in the top 15 with a personal record of 19:53.

Cleveland State runs again on Saturday, Sept. 29, at the All-Ohio Championship in Cedarville, Ohio.
