Men's Athlete of the Week
Cory Scheadler, Wright State, Senior, Ripley, Ohio
Scheadler won the Xavier Provident Invitational with a time of 15:31 on Saturday as the Raiders finished in second place.

Women's Athlete of the Week
Andrea Karl, Detroit, Junior, Casco, Mich.
Karl was Detroit's top runner at the Running Fit Detroit Titan Invitational in a time of 18:59 (sixth place) for the Titans.

Other Top Men's Performers
Meade Goedert, Detroit, Junior, Omaha, Neb.
Meade finished as Detroit's top runner at Running Fit-Detroit Titan Invitational with a time of 21:04 (ninth place) for the four-mile course.

Mikhail Davidyan, UIC, Senior, Skokie, Ill.
Davidyan finished in 18th place with an 8,000-meter time of 25:47.92 at the Bradley Open on Friday. Davidyan, who led Flames runners for the second week in a row, bashed his precious Bradley Open bests of 26:15.12 and 46th place, led a pack of UIC competitors that had five athletes finish in the top 50 of the 126-entrant event.

Sam Romanski, Loyola, Sophomore, Lake Zurich, Ill.
The sophomore began his season for the second year in a row by finishing as the top Loyola finisher. At Iowa, Romanski placed sixth with a time of 25:29 in the 8,000-meter run.

Scott LaChance, UW-Green Bay, Senior, Phillips, Wis.
LaChance was the first Phoenix runner across the line in seventh with a time of 26:32 for the eight-kilometer course.

Jeremy Riehm, Youngstown State, Senior, Old Fort, Ohio
Riehm was YSU's top finisher as he placed 46th with a time of 27:05.88 in the 5.2-mile run at the Spiked Shoe Invitational.

Other Top Women's Performers
Susie Martinez, UIC, Sophomore, Chicago, Ill.
Friday's Bradley Open marked the second week in a row that Martinez led the Flames in finish, taking 22nd place with a 5,000-meter time of 19:12. The Chicago native, who was the only UIC runner to place in the top 25 on the women's side, cut her final ranking from 2003's Bradley Open in half, when she finished in 44th place.

Maureeca Lambert, Loyola, Sophomore, Bloomington, Ill.
Lambert led the Ramblers for the first time. She finished with a time of 14:41 in the 4,000-meter course at Iowa.

Natalie McPeak, UW-Green Bay, Sophomore, Waupaca, Wis.
McPeak placed 17th in a time of 23:50 for six kilometers.

Marie McVetta, Wright State, Sophomore, Grafton, Ohio
McVetta took first place in the Xavier Provident Invitational run in West Chester, Ohio on Saturday as the Raiders took second as a team. McVetta's time of 18:54 was the best time of her two-year Raider career as she picked up her first career first-place finish.

Emily Schnitkey, Youngstown State, Junior, Napoleon, Ohio
Schnitkey finished 12th with a time of 22:46 in her first cross-country race in nearly two years as the YSU cross-country teams compete at the Spiked Shoe Invitational on Saturday. Schnitkey, who missed all of last season due to a nagging leg injury, led the women's team to a sevent-place finish in the 17-team 6K competition.
