Male Athlete of the Week

 

Scott Overall

Butler

Sr., Twickenham, England

Overall placed ninth among 301 runners at the Roy Griak Invitational.  He finished the race in 24:52, one of just 15 runners to break 25:00 on the 8K course.  It was the first competition this season for the Butler senior.

 

Overall was named the male Athlete of the Week three times last season.

 

Female Athlete of the Week

 

Claire Holme

Butler

Jr., Stowmarket, England

Holme, running in her first race for the Bulldogs this season, finished 10th of 288 runners at the Roy Griak Invitational.  She covered the 6K course in 21:44.

 

 

Other Men's Top Performers for the Week

 

Sam Romanoski

Loyola

Sr., Lake Zurich, Ill.

Romanoski was Loyola's top finisher for the third straight meet this season as well as the lone Loyola men's runner to finish among the top 100 individuals on Saturday at the Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis. Romanoski finished the 8k course in 25:38.35 for a 38th-place showing.

Ashley Raymond

Loyola

So., Wheaton, Ill.

Raymond led the Ramblers for the third consecutive meet this season, placing 76th overall in the individual standings by completing the 6k course in 23:02.45 on Saturday at the Roy Griak Invitational.

 

Caitlan Ebner

Cleveland State

Fr., North Royalton, Ohio

Ebner clocked in at 21:09 at the Ohio Invitational on Saturday morning in Athens, Ohio despite wet and muddy conditions. Ebner's time was good for 15th overall in the race. She has now led the Vikings in all four of the team's meets this season.
