MALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Lape finished 76th as the YSU team finished 10th out of 21 teams, tying its best-ever finish at the Iona Meet of Champions on Saturday (Sept. 22). Lape was one of three freshman among YSU's five scoring runners, and was 14th among all freshman runners in the field.

FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Allison Craine
Cleveland State
Freshman, Austintown, Ohio


For the fourth consecutive week, Craine was CSU's top finisher as she placed 10th overall at the Ohio University Invitational on Saturday. Her time of 19:21 marked the second straight weekend in which she ran under 19:30, and was just 19 seconds off of her personal best time.
