Men's Athlete of the Week
Thomas Frazer, Butler, Senior, Belfast, Ireland
Frazer finished eighth helping the Bulldogs to a third place finish at the Notre Dame Invitational. He completed the 8k course in 23:51, finishing 11 seconds behind the individual champion from Brigham Young. He was three seconds out of the "Top Five" finish.

Women's Athlete of the Week
Victoria Mitchell, Butler, Senior, Mansfield, Victoria
Mitchell helped lead Butler to an eighth place team finish at the Notre Dame Invitational placing 11th. She finished the 5k course in 17:04, missing the "Top Ten" finish by two seconds.

Other Men's Top Performers
Sam Watson, UIC, Sophomore, Oak Park, Ill.
Watson ran his career-best at the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational in 26:02. He led the Flames with a 70th-place finish.

Shawn Lucas, Loyola, Junior, Elgin, Ill.
Lucas led the Ramblers to their third consecutive title at the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational beating 24 other teams. He placed 12th with a time of 24:56.

Cory Scheadler, Wright State, Senior, Ripley, Ohio
Sheadler took a 55th-place finish at the Notre Dame Invitational. He finished the 8k course in 25:53.

Jeremy Riehm, Youngstown State, Senior, Old Fort, Ohio
Riehm led the Penguins for the third straight meet with a 34th-place finish at the Notre Dame Invitational. He set a personal record in 25:35 and now ranks eighth in school history in the 8k.

Other Women's Top Performers
Susie Martinez, UIC, Sophomore, Chicago, Ill.
Martinez overcame the flu to lead the Flames at the SeanEarl Lakefront Invitational. She completed the 5k in 19:28.

Maureeca Lambert, Loyola, Sophomore, Bloomington, Ill.
Lambert seized her third straight team-high finish in 17:31 at the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational. She placed third, leading the Ramblers to a fifth place team finish.

Marie McVetta, Wright State, Sophomore, Grafton, Ohio
McVetta finished 20th in the Notre Dame Invitational in 18:50.

Emily Schnitkey, Youngstown State, Junior, Napolean, Ohio
Schnitkey ran a persona-best 5K time of 18:05 to place second at the Notre Dame Invitational. Her finish was the highest in Youngstown State's history of competing at the meet. Her time also ranks her fourth in school history in the 5K.
