CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland State assistant men's basketball coach Jermaine Kimbrough has been suspended for one game for his comments critical of the officials after Monday's game at Kentucky.

Kimbrough will miss CSU's game against Ball State on Saturday (Nov. 30) at 7:00 p.m. in the Wolstein Center.

Per the Horizon League operating regulation: 'Coaches are prohibited from publicly criticizing officials'.

"CSU assistant coach Jermaine Kimbrough's comments about the officiating after the CSU-Kentucky men's basketball game on Monday, November 25th were unacceptable," CSU Director of Athletics John Parry said. "As a result, coach Kimbrough has been suspended for the CSU-Ball State game scheduled on Saturday, November 30th."
