Both of those contests were on the road, with the Wisconsin game September 29th being the Vikings last loss to date.
The winner of the game Thursday in Michigan State will travel to South Bend, Indiana to take on the tournament's No. 1 overall seed, Notre Dame, in the second round Sunday at 7:00 p.m.
