BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The Cleveland State men's golf team placed 12th at the NCAA Men's Golf Central Regional at Olde Stone Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ky. The Vikings have won the last two Horizon League championships. Fourteen schools participated in the event.

The Vikings, who finished 23 strokes behind East Tennessee State for 11th place, were led by Patrick Elber (+10), who tied for 39th place. Jake Scott, the medalist at last month's Horizon League Championship, was 15-over and placed 54th.

North Carolina State's Matt Hill (-4) won the 54-hole event. Hill advances in the NCAA Men's Golf Championship as an individual, along with teams UCLA, Washington, Ohio State, Georgia Tech and Duke.
