CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Former Cleveland State standout D'Aundray Brown has signed a contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team announced on Thursday. Per NBA and team policy, the terms were not announced.

Brown was a two-time All-Defensive Team honoree while at Cleveland State, earning the accolades in 2010 and 2012. As a senior, the 6-foot-4, 195-pound guard averaged 10.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists and a League-leading 2.5 steals per game. In his four-year career, Brown averaged 7.8 ppg while shooint 48.7-percent from the field.

Should Brown make the opening day roster, he will become the third member of Cleveland State's 2009 NCAA Tournament team to reach the NBA. Cedric Jackson had stints with Cleveland, San Antonio and Washington in the 2009-10 season, while 2011 Horizon League Player of the Year Norris Cole won an NBA Championship in his rookie season with the Miami Heat.

Brown will also become the fifth Horizon League alumnus in the NBA, joining Cole, Detroit's Willie Green (L.A. Clippers) and the Butler tandem of Gordon Hayward (Utah) and Shelvin Mack (Washington).
