Leaderboard Through Two Rounds
LEXINGTON, Ky. - The University of Detroit Mercy owns a 3-stroke lead over both Cleveland State University and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay after 36 holes of play Monday at the Horizon League Men's Golf Championship at Kearney Hill Golf Links. CSU's Jake Scott is the leader after two rounds, carding a 3-under 141 (71-70).
Wright State's Charlie Doll, who led after the first round, stands second with Butler's Kyle Thomas fired a 145 (78-67) to move into third place after firing a tournament-best 67 in the second round.
Weather is threatening Tuesday's final round, forcing a staggered start at two holes. The top three teams (Detroit, Green Bay and Cleveland State) will tee off on hole No. 1 beginning at 8 a.m. The bottom four teams (Youngstown State, Loyola, Butler and Wright State) will start on hole No. 10 at 8 a.m.
