Horizon League women’s soccer teams opened conference play on Friday with three matches, as Detroit, Milwaukee and Northern Kentucky came away with three points in the beginning tilts.

Milwaukee 2, Oakland 1 (OT): Maria Stephans netted the overtime winner in the 96th minute to send Milwaukee to an improbable 2-1 comeback victory over Oakland at the Oakland Soccer Field. The Panthers trailed the Golden Grizzlies until the final minutes, converting a penalty kick at the 86-minute mark to send the game to overtime. Read more…(link)
