What does being the vice-president of SAAC (student-athlete advisory committee) mean to you?
To me it means setting a positive example in a leadership role and acting as a communicator between athletes and administration. It's important for coaches and administration to hear an athlete's point of view and understand what we think.

I really liked going to the Kaleidoscope center when I went to Indianapolis with the Horizon League SAAC. I also liked participating in Stay In Bounds at a local elementary school and the athlete dance is always fun!

Has it been beneficial to have your family close by, originally being from Royal Oak, MI?
I really appreciate when my family comes to games and I know they enjoy seeing me play, so I am glad they get to see so many games.

How hard has it been to juggle your academics along with practice and games the last four years?
Sometimes it's really stressful and I feel chaotic and disorganized, but it really helps my time management skills and I definitely have had great practice dealing with stress.

Who has had the biggest influence on your career?
My parents and a few of my former coaches who really helped me improve and learn the game, including Coach Bill Legault and Coach Gary Morris.
