INDIANAPOLIS - University of Detroit Mercy sophomore Nate Robinson has been named Horizon League Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the period of Nov. 2-Nov. 8. Robinson earns his UDM's first weekly accolade since Sept. 18, 2006.

The Novi, Michigan, native guided Detroit to two victories last week. Robinson assisted on the game-winning goal in a 3-2 overtime victory at Bowling Green State University on Wednesday. He also recorded a goal and three assists on a 4-2 triumph over University of Illinois at Chicago on Saturday.

For the week, Robinson tallied four assists and six points.

Saturday's outcome marked Detroit's first win over UIC since September 25, 2005.

Detroit finishes the season 5-12-1 overall and 2-6-0 in League play.
