Fans Can Create Preseason All-League Teams

Horizon League Men's Basketball Preseason Honors -- Fan Vote

INDIANAPOLIS -- For years, fans have squabbled with media over the selection of all-league teams. Now, those fans have a voice.

Horizon League fans can create their own preseason men's basketball All-League teams here. Fans will be able to choose their preseason poll, along with voting for first and second team all-league honors, preseason player of the year, coach of the year, and an all-freshman team.

Results of the voting will be announced on Monday, Oct. 14, two days before Horizon League Men's Basketball Media Day on Wednesday, Oct. 16.

At media day, which will be carried live on the Horizon League Network, the preseason player of the year along with first and second team all-league picks will be revealed. Voting is conducted of the League's coaches, media nad sports information personnel.

Fans will also have a chance to ask questions of coaches and student-athletes throughout media day via twitter, using the hashtag "#AsktheHL."
