FEMALE RUNNER OF THE WEEK | SYDNIE FETHEROLF | DETROIT MERCY | SENIOR |  NORWALK, OHIO
The individual and team crowns are back in Titan Territory as senior Sydnie Fetherolf and the Titans won the 31st Annual Running Fit-Titan Invitational, held at Cass Benton Park in Northville on Saturday. Fetherolf - who was on the first winning Titan team in 2015 - became just the third harrier in school history to win the event, following Louisa Coppola in 2013 and Angie Lefere in 1997. She set a new personal record in the process with a time of 18:09 in the 5k, crushing her old PR of 18:36. Her run of 18:09 was the second fastest ever by a Titan in the event, behind only Kim Hemstreet's 17:58 in 2002, and ranks 21st in the history of the meet.
