Tournament Bracket
The final day of the regular season dawned with six of the eight seeds in the 2015 Horizon League Tournament still undetermined, but the three games on Saturday locked in the seeds for next week's men's basketball tournament.
Valparaiso clinched the No. 1 seed with its win over Cleveland State on Friday night. The Crusaders finished the regular season 13-3 and have now won the regular season title three of the last four years. As the top-seed in the tournament, Valpo will host second round games on Friday, March 6 at the ARC and semifinal games on Saturday, March 7. Valpo's tournament will begin on Saturday in the semifinals with tipoff scheduled for 9:30 p.m. ET.
Green Bay secured the No. 2 seed on Saturday with a win over Oakland. The Golden Grizzlies will be the No. 3 seed. Green Bay joins Valparaiso in receiving a bye into the semifinals. The Phoenix will play in the first semifinal game on Saturday with tipoff at 7:00 p.m. ET. Oakland will receive a bye into the second round and will play their first game on Friday in the second round at 7 p.m. ET against either No. 6 seed UIC or No. 7 seed Wright State.
Cleveland State is the No. 4 seed and will play its first game in the tournament against the winner of the first round game between No. 5 seed Detroit and No. 8 seed Youngstown State.
The tournament begins on Tuesday, March 3 with Detroit and UIC hosting first round games.
The championship game will be played Tuesday, March 10 at 7 p.m. ET at the site of the higest remaining seed
