FSN Horizon League Men's Basketball Game of the Week Features UIC at Butler

This week's Fox Sports Net Horizon League Men's Basketball Game of the Week features UIC at Butler this Saturday, Feb. 26, on the final weekend of the 2004-05 regular season. Tip-off is noon ET (11 a.m. CT) at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The game will air live on FSN Chicago and FSN Midwest and on same-day tape-delay on FSN North at a time to be announced.
UIC (13-12, 7-7), which will host Wright State Wednesday, Feb. 23, prior to the Butler game, enters the week in a three-way tie for third place with the Raiders and Detroit. The third-place team at the end of the regular season will receive a bye to the League championship quarterfinals, while the fourth- through sixth-place teams will host first-round games. The Flames are led by senior guard and Preseason Player of the Year Cedrick Banks, who averages 17.2 points per game and leads the League in conference games only with 19.1 points per contest. Senior forward Armond Williams, a preseason second-team pick, adds 10.1 points and a team-best 6.1 rebounds.
Butler (11-14, 5-9) is in eighth place in the League standings entering the week but is just a game-and-a-half out of the pivotal sixth spot with two games remaining. The Bulldogs will play at ninth-place Youngstown State this Wednesday before hosting UIC. Junior forward Brandon Polk paces four Butler players in double figures in scoring with 12.3 points plus a team-leading 4.3 rebounds per game. Guard A.J. Graves, the League's top-scoring freshman, averages 10.8 points per contest, while junior guard Bruce Horan contributes 10.1, including 77 three-pointers.
Josh Lewin will call the play-by-play for Saturday's game with color commentary by Dave Kaplan. Chris Boden will handle sideline duties.
