Horizon League Golfers of the Week
Award 2 -- Sept. 25
Men's Golf -- Britt Pronk (Detroit)
Women's Golf -- Katie Tabbert (Green Bay)

INDIANAPOLIS -- University of Detroit Mercy sophomore Britt Pronk and University of Wisconsin-Green Bay freshman Katie Tabbert have been named Horizon League Golfers of the Week for the period of Sept. 12-24.

Pronk, a native of London, Ontario, posted 72-71-68=211 to place second in the John Dallio Memorial in Lemont, Ill.

Pronk's 54-hole total and final-round score were both personal records.

As a team, the Titans carded a 290-300-285=875 to finish third out of 15 teams in the Sept. 21-22 tournament.

Tabbert, a native of Onalaska, Wis., turned in a 70 to earn medalist honors at the Western Illinois Fall Invitational in Macomb, Ill. She became the first player in the program's two-year history to win a tournament.

As a team, the Phoenix carded a 342 to tie for sixth out of nine teams in the Sept. 15 affair.
