Greco, Zwier Named Divers of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS -- UIC’s Mike Greco and Wright State’s Neena Zwier are the Horizon League Men’s and Women’s Diver of the Week for Oct. 22-28.

Greco, a senior from Naperville, Ill., swept the diving portion in UIC’s dual-meet win over Eastern Illinois. Greco won the 1-meter event with a score of 315.83 and the 3-meter event with a score of 310.28. His 1-meter score met the NCAA qualifying standard.

Greco and the Flames have a busy weekend ahead as they face Western Kentucky and Northwestern on Friday and Milwaukee on Saturday.

Zwier, a senior from Grand Rapids, Mich., won three of the four diving events she competed in this weekend. She swept the 1-meter and 3-meter dives in Wright State’s dual-meet against Milwaukee, besting five other divers with a score of 211.95 in the 1-meter event and 254.78 in the 3-meter event. In Wright State’s dual-meet at Green Bay, Zwier won the 1-meter dive with a score of 248.10 and placed second in the 3-meter event with a score of 234.83.

Wright State is back in action on Saturday when they host Oakland.
