Green Bay and UIC both earned opportunities to continue their seasons on Monday night as the Phoenix learned their opponent in the WNIT and the Flames accepted a bid into Women's Basketball Invitational (WBI).

Green Bay (22-9) earned the Horizon League's automatic bid into the WNIT after capturing the conference's regular season title for the 16th consecutive season. The Phoenix will open play in the WNIT on Wednesday at Minnesota.This is the Phoenix's fourth trip to the WNIT. They previously went in the 2001, 2006 and 2008 seasons and have an 0-3 record all-time in the WNIT.

Last season, Youngstown State represented the Horizon League in the WNIT, advancing to the second round before bowing out.

The Flames will open play in the WBI on Wednesday night against IPFW. It is the program's first time in the WBI and second postseason appearance in program history. UIC previously played in the WNIT in 2007.

UIC (22-9) owns the nation's second largest turnaround with 13 more victories than the 2012-13 season. The Flames set the program record with 22 wins and tied the program record with 11 straight victories from Nov. 15 - Jan. 3.

Last season, Detroit won the WBI.
