Shong Nets Two in Win at Milwaukee, Green Bay Retains Chancellor's Cup
The Green Bay men’s soccer team was in Milwaukee, WIs., for its annual Chancellor’s Cup match this evening, taking on Milwaukee at Engelmann Stadium with aspirations of returning to Green Bay (4-5-3, 2-1-2) with the cup for the third-consecutive year. Senior Cheenuj Shong saw to it that Green Bay boarded the bus with the same trophy it brought only hours prior to the match, as the midfielder netted two goals to defeat the Panthers 2-0 and retain the Chancellor’s Cup. Milwaukee Falls To Green Bay In Chancellor’s Cup Showdown
Cheenuj Shong scored a goal in each half to lead the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay over the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's soccer team Wednesday evening at Engelmann Stadium.

The Panthers (3-7-2, 1-3-1 Horizon League) outshot the Phoenix (4-5-3, 2-1-2 Horizon League) by more than double on the night, but could not covert any of their 17 attempts into goals. Read more

Crusaders Land Draw at #23 New Mexico
The Valparaiso University men’s soccer team continued its unbeaten streak against ranked opponents, earning a 1-1 draw on the road in Albuquerque N.M, against Soccer America #23 New Mexico on Wednesday night. The Crusaders are now 2-0-1 in their last three matches versus ranked opponents.

“I’m proud of the boys tonight,” said Crusader head coach Mike Avery. “After the first minute, we played very well and probably deserved even more out of the game. New Mexico is a great team and it was a good experience for our team to take this trip and compete in this environment.” Read more
