INDIANAPOLIS—In the first-ever Horizon League men’s basketball preseason fan vote, Green Bay has been selected the favorite to capture the 2013-14 championship in a close race with runner-up Wright State.
In anticipation of the Horizon League Men’s Basketball Media Day reveal of the official preseason selection results, fans voted on their own preseason poll, first and second all-league teams, player of the year, newcomer of the year, coach of the year, and best game of the season. The fans have been given a voice and here are their selections.

The Horizon League Men’s Basketball Media Day takes place on Wednesday, Oct. 16 and is live on the Horizon League Network starting at 11 a.m. CT. In addition to the reveal of the preseason selections voted on by the League’s coaches, media and sports information personnel, interviews with coaches and student-athletes will also be aired.
Fans will have a chance to ask questions of coaches and student-athletes throughout media day via twitter, using the hashtag “#AsktheHL”.
