#HLMBB Scoreboard (Jan. 22)
Green Bay 83, Oakland 69
Cleveland State 74, UIC 64

Green Bay was tested once again, but pulled away late to win its sixth straight Horizon League game and 11th consecutive overall, while Cleveland State traveled to cold, snowy Chicago and collected an important road win.

Green Bay 83, Oakland 69
Keifer Sykes scored 27 points and Carrington Love added a career-high 17 as hot-shooting Green Bay cruised past Oakland, 83-69, at the Resch Center for its 11th straight win.

With Love, a sophomore reserve, hitting 5-of-6 shots, including both his 3-pointers, and 5-of-6 free throws, Green Bay (16-3, 6-0) shot 50 percent and was 8-of-15 from behind the arc. Love capped his career performance with an acrobatic, over-the-shoulder layup in the waning minutes, flipping up a shot with his back to the basket while being fouled.

The Phoenix, who also got 15 points from Alec Brown, only made 23-of-34 free throws.

Corey Petros paced Oakland (7-14, 2-4) with 19 points and nine rebounds. Kahlil Felder had 14 and Tommie McCune added 13. The Golden Grizzlies made 14 of 18 free throws but fell to 0-11 when their opponent gets to the foul line more times.

Travis Bader, who leads the NCAA with 86 3s, was 2-of-11 from long range, making him 7-of-39 in his last four games. Bader is now 12 3-pointers shy of tying J.J. Redick's NCAA record of 457 career 3-pointers.

Cleveland State 74, UIC 64
Cleveland State hit 10 three-pointers and had four players in double figures and the Vikings led from start to finish in a 74-64 win over UIC at the UIC Pavilion.

Cleveland State (12-9, 4-3 Horizon) was led by Bryn Forbes, who scored a game-high 20 points, adding four rebounds and three assists. It was his 11th career 20-point game and fifth this year as he hit 4-of-5 from three-point. Jon Harris tallied his second career double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Harris, who hit 4-of-5 from three-point, tallied his first career double-double in Sunday's setback to Wright State.

Trey Lewis finished with 16 points and five assists, while Anton Grady, who had missed the last two games with a concussion, returned and notched 12 points, five rebounds, three assists and three blocked shots.

The Vikings finished 10-of-15 from 3-point range, outscoring the Flames, 30-12, from outside the arc. The 66.7 percent mark is the tops in the Horizon League this year.

Jake Weigand led UIC (5-15, 0-6 Horizon) with a career-high 17 points and nine rebounds.

CSU was without its top reserve guard, Sebastian Douglas, who missed his third straight game with a concussion.

Lewis hit a three-pointer to start the scoring and CSU would not trail the rest of the night as the Viking lead grew to 10, 25-15, on a Forbes 3-pointer at the 5:44 mark of the opening half. The lead was still 10 with three minutes left in the half, but UIC used a pair of baskets to close the half and pull within 29-23 at the intermission.

CSU opened the first seven minutes of the second half on a 14-8 run to take a 43-31 lead on a Harris three. The lead swelled to as many as 13 points, but the Flames would not go away, slicing their deficit to six, 55-49, with just over five minutes to play.

However, Lewis made a layup and after a UIC bucket, Grady had a tip-in and sank two free throws as the lead grew back to 10, 61-51, with 2:24 left and the Vikings hit 11 free throws over the final 90 seconds to ice the win.

CSU is back in action on Saturday, Jan. 25, when the Vikings host Valparaiso at 2 p.m. ET in the Wolstein Center.
